Anvix Expense Analyzer ("the app") is published by Anvix Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is handled. In short: your financial SMS are processed on your device, and nothing leaves your phone unless you explicitly turn on an AI feature.
Anvix Expense Analyzer requests the READ_SMSpermission for a single purpose: to read your bank's transaction alert messages so it can categorize your spending and produce reports.
Parsed transactions, your settings, custom rules, and an optional categorization cache are stored locally in the app's private storage. Reports you export (PDF/CSV) are saved to your device's Downloads folder. You can clear this data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
AI features are off by default. If you enable them, the app sends the parsed spend messages for the range you analyze — and, for chat, your questions — to Anthropic (the Claude API) to generate categories or answers. This happens only when you take an action (tap Analyze or send a chat message). Depending on the option you choose:
Anthropic processes this data under its own terms. See Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
The optional subscription is billed through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details; Google processes the transaction and provides us a purchase token used only to verify your subscription.
Anvix Expense Analyzer is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
